Kafa Studios is operated by 1599757 B.C. Ltd., a British Columbia corporation based in Surrey, Canada. We develop consumer apps, including BasePlate, our upcoming workout tracking app.
We build our own products around practical, everyday activities, with an emphasis on clear interfaces and useful features.
Our current focus is helping people plan their strength training, record what they lift, and see their progress over time through BasePlate.
We bring product design and development together: deciding what an app needs to do, shaping how it feels to use, and building the features that support that experience.
Our apps
BasePlate is currently in development and is not yet available to download. Release information will be shared here when it is ready.
Plan your training
Browse built-in workout plans or create a custom plan with your own exercises and sets. Choose a plan to guide your sessions.
Log each session
Record weights and repetitions, mark completed sets, and use the rest timer between efforts. Substitute exercises when your session needs to change.
See your progress
Review your workout history, follow training volume over time, and keep track of personal records as you build consistency.
Built around your routine
BasePlate supports kilograms and pounds, lets you revisit previous workouts, and includes tools to back up and restore your training records. The aim is a straightforward workout log that is useful both during a session and when planning the next one.
